City Meet is an all-region community swim meet put on by Tyde, and is a highly anticipated event for our swimmers each summer! An all-day, USA-swimming officiated meet, it provides opportunities for any swimmer to compete, with and against anyone! Unique events, mixed relays, fierce-but-friendly competition and fellowship with the local swim community makes this a well-loved event for all our swimmers (as well as alumni and parents)!

This is a "practice" swim meet: all of our swimmers will swim each individual event in a practice structured just like a swim meet (this will occur during regular practice hours!). This gives our swimmers an idea of how the meet environment works and what they will be expected to do on meet day, and gives our coaches the ability to assess how to best set each athlete, and our team as a whole, up for success in upcoming meets. Parents, this a perfect opportunity to learn how to read a heat sheet, be a timer, and understand the meet environment to best help your swimmer(s) suceed. It also lets our team practice cheering each other on, so be ready for a fun evening!
